‘We’ are The Cotswolds Concierge.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases resulting from enquiries made through our website www.thecotswoldsconcierge.co.uk, via WhatsApp messages or calls to the number above, or any e-mail enquiries sent to the e-mail account above.

 

2. By Using Our Website

 

By using our website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions

  • You will not use the website for unlawful purposes.

 

If you do not agree, you must not use our website.

 

3. Services

  • All services are subject to availability

  • We reserve the right to discontinue our service at any time

  • Images on our website are for illustration purposes only.

 

We make reasonable efforts to ensure descriptions and prices are accurate.

 

4. Orders

 

When you place an order:

  • You are making an offer to pay for our service in agreement with our pricing

  • You will receive a confirmation either via e-mail or WhatsApp message

  • A contract is formed bound to these Terms and Conditions when we confirm our availability to meet your request.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, including for pricing errors.

 

5. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are in GBP (£)

  • Travel charges are shown on the website and are in addition to our hourly rate (when travel exceeds 10 miles from OX15 5HX per task)

  • Odometer readings can be provided on travel above 50 miles

  • The minimum fee of £35 is payable in advance only on your first order

  • Our rate of £35 per hour is fixed up to 4 hours

  • Beyond 4 hours a rate or fixed price will be agreed in writing between both parties for that specific task only before work will commence

  • Fees are due in full on completion of the requested task

  • Any purchase we make on your behalf with be subject to a 15% transaction fee

  • A receipted invoice will be sent by e-mail on all purchases.

 

We accept payment via ‘Tap to Pay’ on Sum Up app (via mobile phone) in person or over the phone. We can accept bank transfer only for outstanding fees over £250 GBP on receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed.

 

For repeat, regular custom a standing order or subscription fee and payment schedule can be agreed.

 

6. Cancellation and fees

 

Any customer cancellations made on the same day of the confirmed job will be payable in full. If any travel has been incurred at the point of cancellation that fee will also be payable in full.

Should we be unable to fulfil an order and the first-time payment of £35 has been made. We will return this payment in full.

 

7. Business hours

 

We operate Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Work may be requested outside of these hours subject to our availability.

NB. Our hourly rate outside of our business hours will be higher than £35 per hour and will depend on availability, the requested time of day and

duration of the job.  Work will only commence once a fee has been agreed in writing by both parties.

8. Client Confidentiality

Details of our clients’ names, jobs undertaken or requested, circumstances, any related private information, fees paid or payment structures agreed will not be shared with any third party unless expressly agreed in writing.

 

9. Force Majeure

 

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Illness

  • Supply chain disruption

 

We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

 

10. Intellectual Property

 

All content on this website (including text, images, logos, and designs) is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without our permission.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

 

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any matter that cannot be excluded under UK law

 

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Business losses (as this is a consumer website)

 

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

 

12. Website Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website.
We may suspend or withdraw the website at any time.

 

13. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
