Educated at Charterhouse School, followed by Manchester University, I originally trained as a journalist. After some bylines, I ran the first UK online bookshop and then moved into marketing and design, via copywriting, and have operated at Director level in three small businesses. More recently I have trained as a counsellor.

 

From 27 years of running and supporting small businesses, I have experience in various roles from directorships and consultancy to project management and understand the demands and intricacies of the delicate work/life balance.

 

Through personal relationships I have been a family man and understand the importance of consistency and the priorities of love, care, fun and support.
